WEDDING FAQ

Select a question to reveal the answer.

How would you describe your style?

My style is a natural and documentary approach to photography. My style is candid, light and colorful.

We have already had an engagement session. Can this be removed from the package price?

The complimentary engagement session is a gift to my couples therefore the session is not exchangeable for any other session or value.

I love being able to capture your love story from beginning to end and being able to work with you before your wedding allows us to capture your truest form on your wedding day.

I would highly recommend an engagement session but it is completely optional, so no pressure.

Do you include prints or albums with your wedding packages?

The Everlasting Wedding Collection includes a premium printed 8×8 heirloom album.

All wedding collections are given an exclusive a la carte menu to purchase any prints, wall art or albums at any given time in the booking process. Enchanted and Everlasting Wedding Collections recieve a one time coupon code to use in the print shop!

Do we need a second shooter?

Short answer, yes!

A second shooter provides more than just alternative angles to the same moment. They act as an assistant to me, holding or readjusting the bride’s dress, gathering family members for photos, keeping a track of the timeline and so much more.

A second shooter is included in all of my packages as I have found I serve my clients the best with the assistance a second shooter can provide. Leaving me with more time to focus and cater to you.

Do you photograph: Same Sex / Non-Religious/ Any and All Religions / etc weddings?

Absolutely, I am always honored to document different kinds of beautiful people in their walks of life! I love all kinds of humans and love stories.

Do you travel?

Absolutely! Travel is included within 50 miles of Easton, MD.

Destination weddings that are over 100 miles from Easton, MD, will have a custom travel fee discussed to cover transportation and hotel accommodations.

Destination locations taking place at a location on my bucket list will get a special discounted destination package!

How much time is needed for our formal portraits on the wedding day?

At least 1 hour following the ceremony (cocktail hour). Most photos are taken before the ceremony to save on time, such as a first look, some bridal party as well as family formals.

I typically take bride and bridesmaids portraits as well as groom and groomsmen portraits during the getting ready hours before the ceremony to save on time and allow you to get to your guests sooner after the ceremony!

Although, I am quick shooter and can work relatively fast depending on the cooperation of all involved.

PORTRAIT & SENIOR FAQ

Select a question to reveal the answer.

What should I wear?

Choosing outfits that not only flatter your body but flatter the way you feel will make the biggest difference in your photos. If at any point you are unsure about an outfit, do not hesitate to send me a quick photo and I can provide you with some feedback. Here are some suggestions to keep in mind when making your outfit selection:

When choosing colors for your outfits, we recommend selecting softer, lighter tones and more muted shades. By avoiding ultra-bright, bold colors, it will help bring all the attention to your faces and let the eye focus on the way you feel about each other. The camera loves shades of soft pink and muted blues, mixed with sophisticated light neutrals like heather gray, creams, leather brown and white. That softer color palette fits beautifully into almost all natural outdoor environments and especially compliments the desert.

Dresses and skirts look most stunning because they really flatter every female body, especially on camera. Long, full-length, flowy dresses and skirts look amazing on camera because they bring extra movement to the photos. Consider softer fabrics like chiffon or tulle which allow for beautiful movement in the images.

Avoid wearing shirts with logos, text, or graphics.

Pairing an accessory or two with your outfit can really help bring some extra dimension to your images, and be a nice tie-in when you’re coordinating with a group. Big statement necklaces bring a lot of pop to the photos, while the smaller, delicate ones are not be as noticeable on camera. Belts, bracelets and earrings bring great visual interest, so choose one or two that don’t compete for attention.

Want your photos to look more editorial? Bring a little extra something with you! Fresh flowers bring an extra “wow” factor to just about everything, especially when they’re attached to something else, like a bicycle basket, tree swing, tent, picnic basket, balloons or car bumper. Whether you want to incorporate larger items like classic cars or bikes, or smaller ones like blankets or hats, even planning for just one extra styled item could be a fun way to make your session more unique.

How do we find a location?

Location is completely dependent on your vision, outfit choices and the season. Most clients provide a location such as an estate, private property or a location that holds sentimental value. My studio space in downtown Easton is also available for a neutral bright setting.

If there is no locaiton in mind, I am always up for traveling new places but I also have a ton of outdoor locations on record that we can use at any point.

I am especially a lover of flower fields, gardens of foliage and rustic buildings. Bringing small items that tell your story can make any location great. This includes a tall stool, old suitcases, vintage chair, a guitar, camera, etc.

Do you travel?

Absolutely! Travel is included within 50 miles of Easton, MD. A $100 travel fee will be applied for all locations outside of 50 miles from Easton, MD.

Our rescheduling policy states that if a reschduling were to occur less than two weeks prior to the session date, a fee of $150 would be applied to be put back on the calendar. However I am human who has a heart so some instances or emergencies, the fee will be waived.

We may have to reschedule on a different day of the week than originally planned but we will try to get you in as soon as we can depending on availability.

What if it rain on the day of my outdoor portrait session?

Being that the weather is unpredictable and changes constantly, we will keep tabs on the weather via doplar radar the morning of.

Light drizzling rain will not affect my shooting ability or your comfort, which we would try to continue with the shoot.
