Well hello!! I finally did it. YES, I finally began a blog. I have been been going back and forth for months about how to start this blog and decided to jump in and do it!
Before we get started with why I started a blog, I want to tell you a little bit about myself. I am Cassidy Mister. I am a 22 year old Wedding & Senior Photographer & from Easton Maryland. Photography has always been a passion of mine and once I graduated from Salisbury University I gained the confidence to pursue my dreams head on. Ever since I owned my first small point and shoot camera, I would overshoot details of the life revolving around me. I just found something so intriguing and filling about capturing moments in life that you could not get back. With a photo, this memory, this detail, would forever be frozen in time. With that being said, I am a lover of candid moments, scrunched smiling faces and capturing my client’s raw beautiful souls.
Now back to why I brought you here…
A blog? What is the point of a photography blog?
That is a good question. I want my current clients and my future clients to see me as a person, not just a photographer! I want a connection, a friendship. I want the experience with Cassidy MR. Photography to be an endearing and a welcoming one. In the end, my goal is to capture your truest form; the soul behind the smile.
I plan to make blog posts wrapping up sessions, what I do in between photo sessions and some personal tips & tricks to help out fellow photographers. I am excited for this new journey!

Love! A late blog is better than no blog, right?? I love that you are sharing who you are and your love for photography. People want to work with passionate, fun-loving photographers! I would encourage you to blog about the stories behind the people and photos. Who are the people, what are they like, etc. Every photo and moment captured has a story!
Thank you so much Rachel! Yes I think a late blog is better than no blog too! I used to feel like it was strange when people blogged about their lives so much but now that I always catch myself reading other creative’s blogs, I figured it would be a great thing to get into!

One of my many regrets since my husband passed away last month is that I didn’t take very many pictures. I’m not very good at it but I plan to get better so that I don’t make the same mistake twice. Your photos are beautiful.
